BactiBlock at CERAMITEC 2022

We’re glad to announce that BactiBlock will be present at CERAMITEC 2022, the leading trade fair for the ceramic industry! As a world-leading trade fair, CERAMITEC represents the full spectrum of the ceramics industry. Among the featured exhibition areas are heavy clay, fine and refractory ceramics, and the raw materials sector, as well as technical ceramics, powder metallurgy or specialty additives. BactiBlock antimicrobial additives couldn’t miss the opportunity to participe in such an interesting show!

The singularity of this industry, where high temperatures are often required while production is carried out, doesn’t imply any problem for BactiBlock antimicrobial additives. What’s more, BactiBlock 101 K1.19 has been specifically developed to meet the intrinsic technological requirements of the industry by using Kaolin as carrier of silver.

Antimicrobial protection is a must in public, shared or humid spaces, since pathogens proliferation is unfortunately extremely easy.  Let’s think about toilets, swimming pools or hospitals…and not only these places are susceptible to be dangerous when it comes to bacteria development. Many other places like alimentary production plants, nursing homes, fitness centers or simply our own kitchen, are well worth protecting! Hence, the treatment of ceramic surfaces, used in most of these environments, seems something absolutely useful.
