BactiBlock at ASEAN CERAMICS in Tailand

BactiBlock antimicrobial additives will be joining ASEAN Ceramics exhibition that will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from the 30th November to the 2nd December 2022. We expect to have three days full of meetings, with current and future customers, coming from every corner of the continent. ASEAN CERAMICS connects companies from the ceramics industries with the aim of providing solutions which will lead to the creation of new materials according to the challenges of the future.

The resistance that microorganisms develop to antibiotics is a worldwide challenge. Cleaning agents such as disinfectants for surface treatments are widely spread used to prevent the proliferation of microorganisms, but their use should be repeated over time to ensure a complete microbe-free surface. Surfaces with permanent antimicrobial properties suppose a recent demand in materials science for functional ceramic glazed tiles, sanitary ware and porcelain enamels and any other ceramic surfaces.

BactiBlock technology provides disinfection and sanitisation treatments directly integrated into the floor, wall coverings, sanitary ware or table ware.

BactiBlock is usually applied prior to firing and have no impact on the expected aesthetic results in terms of colour or finish or on physical characteristics such as abrasion, acid or alkali resistance.

If you’re interested in enhancing your product performance incorporating a safe & powerful antimicrobial  protection and you will be visiting ASEAN CERAMICS, do not hesitate to come by our booth F04 (hall 4, 2nd level) and talk to our team face to face.
