Get your shoes & clothes protected with BactiBlock!

Did you know that there can be millions of bacterial organisms living on a single pair of shoes? A study carried out by the University of Arizona found that shoes are diritier than a toilet seat. And the same goes for clothes! Did you know that germs and bacteria on our clothes invade the wardrove and do not disappear in the washing machine?
Contrary to what one might think, even clothes worn and put in the washing machine at the end of the day can preserve and even multiply their load of germs and bacteria.
According to another study from “Frontiers in Microbiology“, most laundry detergents available for purchase are made to remove stains and dirt, but not to sanitize. In fact, detergents are not effective in killing bacteria or biofilms, which are the germs that survive and accumulate in your machine because of its plastic components.
This bacteria is a combination of highly contagious diseases and infection-causing structures. Some of these can cause intestinal infections, urinary tract infections, lung conditions, pneumonia, meningitis, and more.
The question is, how dirty are your shoes and clothes, how can you prevent the bacteria from spreading, and how can you ensure your shoes and clothes keep clean and safe?
BactiBlock will sanitize and provide the antimicrobial protection we need to avoid bacteria proliferation and spreading. And, what’s more! the lifetime of BactiBlock treated materials will be extended thanks to its potential to inhibit the growth of microorganisms that can lead to product deterioration. On top of that, BactiBlock contributes to reduction of unpleasant odours.
BactiBlock is added during the manufacturing process of materials and is compliant with the common request for textiles in terms of abrasion and tear resistance, water vapor permeability, water absorption and elimination, skin irritation or REACH regulation.
If you are interested in BactiBlock, do not hesitate to get in touch with us! We will be happy to schedule a meeting at FUTURMODA from the 5th to the 6th October in Elche (Alicante). Save the date!!
