BactiBlock at the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo in California

This October the Bactiblock antimicrobial additives joined for the first time the CAMX exhibition that was held in Anaheim, California. We expected to have 3 days full of meetings, with current and future customers, coming from every corner of the continent and the results meet the expectactions. The CAMX expo connects companies from very different applications with the aim of developing the materials of the future on its respective industries.

The Bactiblock antimicrobial additives could incorporate a differentiating value for most of the materials and applications represented on this show. The population is nowadays more and more concerned about the problems caused by bacterial growth in the daily use products, being the bacterial protection on surfaces a highly demanded characteristic, even more in top-notch products.

In addition to that, the scientific community is continuously launching studies highlighting the importance of the challenges that we will face in the upcoming years. Just to name a few, we can talk about the multi resistant bacteria or the Healthcare Associated Infections and its potential impact on human health.

Bactiblock represents an already available tool to solve these challenges among many others. It has been proved through different studies that our antimicrobial additive remains active against multi resistant bacteria. The surface protection achieved by incorporating Bactiblock into different materials plays a crucial role as well to fight against the HAIs.

It was a pleasure being there, speaking with companies interested in enhancing their product performance incorporating a safe antimicrobial protection. It’s high time to develop safer and more hygienic products. Do not hesitate to contact us for more info!
