Bactiblock 920 B4 approved by the EPA

Laboratorios Argenol is glad to announce that last January, Bactiblock 920 B4 was approved as an antimicrobial additive by the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States of America. This is a big step forward in the Bactiblock development, and thanks to this approval, Bactiblock is able to cover a wider range of applications worldwide, including the US.
One of the key points of Bactiblock 920 B4 is its capability to withstand really high temperatures, up to 1000ºC, which makes it the best choice for specific applications. Some examples of these applications could be the production of engineering grade plastics, ceramic materials or the production of sanitary ware, among others.
We invite you to check the official approval document at the EPA website through the registration number 94446-3.
At the same time, we would like to take this opportunity to remember that the Bactiblock 101 R1.47 from our functionalized clay range is also approved by the EPA with the registration number 94446-1.
